Overview
Starr Tincup, a Fort Worth-based marketing and advertising agency, is adding a senior-level Web designer to our team. We are talking a Web-design ninja warrior (black clothing not required) who understands the latest trends in Web design. In short, we are looking for an artist who works in pixels. You should understand the B2B world, come armed with big-agency experience and sport a Web portfolio that shows your chops. We want you to be the sizzle for our steak. Position reports directly to the creative director.
Required Skills:
• 7-plus years of experience designing content-rich B2B websites for agencies, large organizations or software companies
• A superior Web-design portfolio
• Solid knowledge of user interface design and information architecture
• Formal training and practical experience designing for HTML, CSS, XML, and/or CMS platforms
• Expert in the Adobe CS platform.
• A proven ability to work independently and to juggle multiple deadlines and projects
• Must be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for consistency
• Ability to translate our customers’ ideas into tangible, executable designs that meet their business objectives
• Degreed professional (or equivalent) in the fine arts, Web design or similar
