the ductless sytem in mention is daiken, they are top notch systems, copper linesets are high right know, for 50' of 3/8 and 7/8 my cost is $250

I have a ductless system in my garage and love it. My lineset is only 15' though most of it is coiled up behind the outside unit. I am lucky though and my garage has plenty of outside wall space.

I have a 2 ton unit for my 900+sqft garage and in the summer it keeps it very cool but I use a couple of fans also to keep the air moving. I set the a/c on 74* and with shorts on walking from in the house into the garage it will make the hair on your legs stand up.

My attic is not insulated yet and neither are the walls but I did put 1 1/4" of foam sheet insulation on the garage doors.

oh and my unit was $1200 shipped for a 2 ton Americorair(sp?)
