Smart thermostat install

Dude, I can’t do it. Old house only has 4 wires and I’m missing the c-wire or whatever but I can’t gir r done. I’ve done everything. Anyone one in the Plano Richardson area know of a place I can call? It’s a thermostat install, not rocket surgery but I can’t figure it out![emoji35]

Smart thermostat install

Ended up hiring a “pro” and he couldn’t figure it out. I ended up replacing it with a regular t-stat. Thanks for that link tho, it was helpful.

I got lucky with I had this issue and the shielded cable they used for the old one had extra wires in it, tied it into a common I found in side the AC unit and was in business.
