I'm trying to replace the back-flow valve on my outdoor faucet. The one I have leaks like a sieve if I have low pressure on the hose to use a lawn sprinkler and only water a small area (put out some sod and do not want to use the entire sprinkler zone). I have tried an NPS, which is supposed to be a pipe thread, but it will not match the threads and screw on.
Excuse the small pics, hope you can see it. ;-)
What I tried from Amazon, and will not fit, female end I thought was suppose to fit the pipe threads.
Male and Female Pipe & Hose Fitting to use for a few weeks, it does not fit the faucet. WTF can I use?
