Short of calling a plumber to replace the faucet, how can I fix this damn thing? If I try to screw anything on, be it a vacuum breaker, hose, on/off check valve, it goes about half a turn, then stops or starts to go at an angle, like this thing is stripped somehow. Only thing I've done to it was removed the old vacuum breaker with channel grips, it was on fucken tight! It was leaking, so I removed it, now I cannot use the damn faucet!
Fucking Tinypic and their pic re-orientation!
Edit: So looks like when I removed that stupid vacuum breaker is what caused it, they appear to be meant to be on permanently. Stupid thing leaked in the center of the joint, so I thought I'd replace it after 11 years of use (house built with it).
