Costco sale for Saferacks overhead garage storage

I have a similar overhead rack installed that came from HD. The longer ceiling brackets on these as shown may be an improvement, although one of the bigger stress points on this type of rack in my opinion is going to be where the vertical angle steel pieces bolt to the ceiling brackets rather than where the brackets themselves are mounted into a joist or joists.

You could be right on that but I don't think it's really much of an issue as long as you stay below the 600lbs max weight limit the manufacturer has set.

This was the one I got last summer, it ran $212.65 delivered at that time. Pretty much similar, though note the shorter joist brackets on mine.
