I installed a gas tankless water heater on the exterior of our house, tearing out the original water heater closet and expanding the space used to create storage cabinets. The result is that it takes a long time, and a lot of water, to get hot water to the kitchen sink; it always took time, but I cringe whenever I pull x gallons through to get hot. I want to install a point of use booster, a mini tank, under the kitchen sink. Would I be good with the 1.5 gallon reservoir or should I go higher to the 2.5?
