Let's talk Washing Machines

I think I need to bite the bullet and upgrade. My current washer and dryer are 15 years old and the dryer is starting to take a long time to dry clothes. I'm just going to replace them. Anybody bought anything recently? I don't want to go over 1500.

I bought the wife a front loading Frigidaire washer/dryer set in late November or early December when all the "sales" were happening at Sears. I was a bit leery since I've never even owned a Frigidaire product, but I read up on them and felt comfortable with it after doing a lot of research, plus it was a pretty good value. $9xx for the pair after tax. i bought an LG front loader for $350 from best buy. came with hoses and free delivery too.

Lowes is having some good deals this weekend on appliances and they offer free delivery and setup.. My experience whirlpool has been the best.. I bought a duet front load set for a grand 2 years ago and thus far not a single problem..

Used\Remanufactured.... Got a washer\dryer for 3-400 for both.... 4 years still goin strong...
