  • Fall pre emergent

With all the rain and cooler weather I have started my fall pre emergence application , it is better to be early than late, I would try and get it out in the next week or two. The 0-0-7 with pendulum at Home Depot will wok fine, whatever you use make sure to water it in thoroughly , if the chemical doesn't reach the soil ( where it binds to form the barrier) it won't be of much use.

I did mine in May seems a bit to early to start.

I have to say, I was impressed at how well this stuff worked at keeping the sand spurs under control this summer. I only plucked a dozen or so out of my half acre back yard.

Does anyone know of a source to buy in bulk? I'm going to try and get my lot in better shape so it's easier to mow. It's only 1.6 acres but I'm hoping to find it cheaper so I can do the whole lot. Right now it's like mowing a damn crop field every month.

Your May app is most likely long used up

Thanks for the reminder. I need to pick up a bag this weekend.

Just talking to my dad about this a few days ago. We will stop by Site 1 (old John Deer Landscape) and pick up some more pre-emergent. When we buy 6 bags they give us a contractor discount which drops a bag from $50 to $30 or so.
