  • I need a window guy

My window in Seagoville was broken after the storm and I need it replaced. It's just one window and I'm getting quotes starting at $200. That sound about right? Cause if it is, I'm sticking some damn plastic in it.

Doesn't sound too bad. What's the cost of a similar window at Home Depot? Is it the top half or the bottom half? A glass company can also replace window sections. I don't recall the cost but I had the bottom half replaced on several windows due to the double pane seal breaking and it was fairly cheap.

I think it's the bottom half, I haven't seen it yet. But a whole window cost less at HD. I was hoping that the broken section could get fixed.

I know the metal framed windows can. That's what I did. I used a local glass company in Grand Prairie.

He will most likely want to take his own to make sure he gets it right. From what I hear, a lot of his re-glazes are $100 and include a warranty. but don't quote me on that!
