    That's pretty standard for Stihl. Was the same when I bought the 291 3 years ago and the same when Mel bought my weedeater 4 years ago.

      I bought a new Stihl farm boss last year. I absolutely effing hate the easy start bullshit. That damn saw floods so easy. I've flooded it every time I've used it. Once I'm past that,its great.

        Yeah Ford/Chevy thing, I have a Husqavarna (sp?) for 4-5 years now no issues with moderate use. I'd recommend them, but you're not the only one I've heard complain about them. Neighbor has one too, same luck as me.
