St. Augustine. Right now I'm at 15-20 minutes 2x a week for the yard. In the heat of summer I kick it up to 30 minutes per station 2x a week. I run the flower beds 10 mins every morning in July/Aug.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

We're allowed 2 days. That is what I've got it set at currently, 10 minutes per zone.
Just remember , when it gets hot , July and on, you can run multiple start times and with small lawns , still be within your rules. Running 2 start times per day is actually mush more efficient than running all at one time .

We use this method on our new yards.

It's just a scaled down version, for example, instead of running each zone for 30 min during a cycle, simply split the time to 15 min each zone for cycle one then the same immediately after that cycle has ran start the second. You get a much deeper watering without any run off, and if you have a small area that only can take 2-3 min before run off use a completely different program (most only use program A, but most controllers have A B and C programs)and run it 3-4 times. There are many ways to get watering more effective it just takes some work.
