I spent about 20 minutes this evening digging out dallisgrass. Now my yard looks like an armadillo went rooting around in it.

Another week or so and I'll have it all dug out. then I will top dress to start addressing the holes left behind, as well as the general overall unevenness.

I've thought about doing that but I have so freaking much of it I'd probably spend a month getting it out.

I'll snap a picture of my front yard tomorrow. It is horrific. That shit is EVERYWHERE. My only other option is to hit it with round up. My problem with that is that I have good grass running up to, and in some instances, through the Dallisgrass patch.

I had the same issues, that's why I went with True Green... I made them come out like once a week last year. It was worth it. I've got a couple that popped up from my neighbors yard but I'll call them back out. It's WAY better than this time last year.

I'll have to take one tomorrow. I sent some to ZEMOG but they are no longer in my PM's. I am 99% certain he said it was dallisgrass.

I've got patches as in your yard, but a lot more. Can't seem to grow grass on those areas.

It could be grub worms in the soil.

The patches in my grass are low spots that were filled in a couple of weeks ago.
