When the doors are closed on my metal shop my radio reception goes to crap. Anyone have an exterior antenna suggestion ? Looking online theres a gazillion choices. Want something "reasonably" priced.

Man, I would say any of the 10-20 dollar ones you see on Amazon would do the trick. Just run the wire out shop, mount antenna high up...seal hole...done. FM reception is nothing fancy or anything.Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.

These metal buildings kill pretty much all reception, including cellular and wifi. You can forget streaming anything in my shop....all the buffering will piss you off pretty quick when you are trying to get some work done. I struggled with it for a little while myself, and finally broke down and bought an antenna to hang outside of the shop. Since I'm a little outside of the city limits I figured it wouldn't hurt to also get one with a power booster, and it has worked out great!

It was cheap and easy to mount, and I get excellent reception on the TV and stereo both now. I just put a splitter between my stereo receiver and TV, and have them both connected on the coax coming from the antenna.70' Chevelle RagTop
