  • Cheap railroad ties?

Does anybody know where I can get good, cheap railroad ties? I have to re-do a retaining wall in my back yard and will need at least 40/50 of them.

ya but if you want anything to grow near them i wouldn't, most are covered in oil diesel chemicals corn coal and a bunch of other stuff. The company that does it currently ships them to mexico where idk what happens to them.

To bad this thread was not a future thread. A project i am on near the Texas Motorspeed way, we will be removing the old railroad track system.
