  • What's your inside trash can look like?

We've had a free standing plastic trash can with a flip top lid for a long time. To me it's an eyesore and the lid broke yesterday. I've liked the idea of having a small can in a cabinet, outta sight, I'm just not sure how practical a small can is. So, I'm looking for ideas. What's your can situation?

First house we bought had a trash compactor in it already, and I loved it! When we built this house, had one added to the build. I don't think I'd like a house with a kitchen trash can now! 18 years with a compactor FTW!

Only thing you have to remember, if you can't leave it on the counter for 5 days and it will smell, don't throw it in the compactor. I can go 3 weeks usually before having to change it. We do have a small trash can in the laundry room, which is next to the garage, so anything that needs to go to the outside trash can gets tossed into that, as I empty it every night.

we've got some stupid $200 stainless can that takes these flimsy little white bags that I always end up putting inside a contractor bag that I fill with other trash before trash goes out

I'd get the sensor open trash can, looks similar.

Yeah, sad but true. If you try to stir shit up everyone will cry. I say make Lincolnboy and Magnus the Admin's and bring this shit back to its former glory!

Can it tell the difference between a human wanting in and a dog wanting in?
