Patio speakers

I'm looking to install some speakers on my patio outside. I'm not to informed how to do this.

I've been told there are now Bluetooth speakers that I can connect to through my phone. This person told me you can label the speakers on your device so you can choose which one you want to play. Is anyone aware of this? Not sure what speakers these are or what I would need to do this. Thanks

We don't have much to go on. Some things that need to be asked:

1) What size is the patio?
2) Is it covered?
3) Do you want to mount the speakers up high?
4) Would a portable speaker work?
5) Are you going to hook anything else up to it in the future like a TV?
6) What's your budget?

There are many other questions to ask, but that's a start. If you want specifics, then here are some ways to look at it.

Here's a small brick speaker that is rechargeable, bluetooth, portable, etc. and works great. I have 3 of these, and I got them for under $20 with shipping included on sale. The battery lasts close to 10 hours, and it's perfect for a small space. I use one to listen to The Ticket in my bathroom as I get ready in the morning. My boys each have one that they take in their baseball bags to listen to music with their friends between games.

My personal setup is 2 outdoor speakers mounted at the corners of my covered patio. They are powered by a 2 channel amp with 2 inputs. The amp sits on a shelf high up under the covered patio by a power source. I have a TV mounted outside as well, so the TV uses one input on the amp. The other has a bluetooth adaptor (see below) so I can stream from my phone or ipad. It was the same setup I had at my previous house but I added the bluetooth adaptor. I wanted it loud enough to be out in the yard and still hear music or a game on TV with people over. That's why I have the powered setup.

I can look up the amp as well, but I've posted it on this site multiple times before. It's a $100-120 amp that has been installed outside under cover for close to 8 years with no problems.

I have this one and I like this sound, but it does have to be hooked into AC power constantly so it's not entirely wireless(Not a big deal to me because I had a wireless system that ran on batteries before and the batteries died quite often).
It also has a 3.5mm input, so you can input any other source as well(such as a TV).

For our setup I used a Rocketfish wireless surround channel transmitter and receiver hooked up to my home theater receiver, and connected the outdoor receiver to two "regular" outdoor speakers.

I like that setup. Does anybody know if they make one similar setup ,but is a pair of speakers that you can mount on a patio that is 110v powered ?

I was looking for something that is mounted into the ceiling. Similar to a surround sound speaker from inside. Not sure how it would work but am curious whats out there.
