That will work fine , make sure and use the 5.4 rate.
My preference for fall pre emergence is.
              Prodiamine ( barricade)
Dimension ( expensive but has some post emergence control on poa Anna)
              And lesco pre-m ( pendamethlin )
              All are good

zemog, for us peasants, which products precisely would you recommend and how would you apply them? I get the lesco, I'll get that. Crab grass was a major PITA this year with my bermuda.

I don't use any of the products from Home Depot type stores so I can't give a recommendation on them . I have used Scott's pro turf products which use the products listed above .

You can get prodiamine from lesco in granular form I believe ( I spray all of mine so I don't have to wait for the breakdown. I will check tomorrow with the benbrook store ( Loren ) and see what he carries in granular form. Remember we are treating for winter weeds ( poa Anna , and grasses winter weeds ) not crabgrass , the mid February app will be for that.

Halts active ingredient is pendamethlin, which is the same active ingredient as the lesco 0-0-7 ( not sure if the percentage is the same or not though)

Shit. This is why I ask these questions. I'm glad I did, though. How exactly should the applications be timed if I want to treat with pre-emergent and also seed bermuda?

Seeding should be done around mid May for Bermuda ( later is ok, but no sooner).

Most pre will last 3-6 months ( many variables affect its longevity) , the fall app will be fine, you can pre in mid January and it should last a max of 6 months , leaving you time to seed in June.
