Doing a tub/shower to just a shower conversion slowly but surely. Getting ready to hang the hardibacker board and do the plumbing.
I bought a shower panel that only needs a 1/2" line screw on fitting for the hot and cold side and it attaches on the bottom.
All the valves etc and plumbed on.
Reading the different installs online you can just attach a valve and then attach the hoses from the shower panel.
Can I just cut the copper line and install a sharkbite followed by a 1/2 valve or is it a better way to do it without welding ( no clue how to weld)
Here is a pic.
