Any of you ever had to raise a homes foundation up due to a flood prone area? I've trying to read up on it, sounds like an expensive venture. I'm not sure what questions to ask the internet in order to learn more, I'd love to hear some accounts if any of you have done this before. The home in question would be 3600 sq foot and 2 stories.

wow. Sounds like boku bucks then. I think they accepted the bid on the home, I drove by it and it had the for sale sign gone.
Home was on the news. I really liked it and the price was right.

It is also the second flood on that home in ~10 years ( last one in 2006 ), which i'm pretty sure is why they are selling it. I just got done repairing my dads home from carpet to new drywall and repaint of the entire home, it had some termite issues too, wasn't too bad to clean up that mess as they only seamed to care about the drywall.
