  • Any tilers do side work?

Looking for someone to tile the bathroom floor in my house. Concrete floor. First step in fixing up this old bathroom.

As you can see, I already ripped up the old linoleum to save a buck. The area to be tiled is roughly 80 sq feet. You can PM me a bid if you want. I do have all the necessary supplies including the tile. The only thing I don't have, is a tile saw, or any means of cutting the tile. The floor might have to be leveled with that... stuff. I bought some of that cause I'm pretty sure it will, in at least one area.

The tile will also have little 2" tiles thrown in there with it, for a little extra style. So an experienced tiler would be best. I would like to see some pics of your previous tile jobs as well. Lastly, this is all the way out in Cleburne, so please look that up because some people in the past didn't know how far it was and had some issues. Thanks!

Yeah its kind of elongated. I took pics from inside both the closets too, just to get a little more... something.

And yeah new toilet will probably happen down the road. Needs one. I tried to post this to craigslist, but they changed their spam rules and a bunch of other crap last week. Now I get "This ad is being blocked" with no reason given.

Tile is easy. That's a small job, good place to start for a newb. Go buy the tile book at home depot and do it.
I read the book, read online and this was my second tile project.. Bought the tile as a close out (cheap)

Even if not replacing it, I would still pull it up. The tile looks much cleaner to be under the toilet. That said, I replaced the toilets in both of our bathrooms when I redid the floors.

With the money you can save by doing it yourself, you can buy a toilet!

Hahaha yeah. If I can get tile that just overlaps the previous tile, and then gets nails shot into it, this will be no problem.

But I don't install the roofs, I only do sales. They couldn't pay me enough to get up there in the summer and get all deep fried and UV saturated.

Anyway I have tiled up my own kitchen backsplash before. But ugh... I'm kind of intimidated. This stuff dries permanent. I don't relish the idea of having to bust up some of the tile if there is some kind of fuck up. Plus I'm lazy and I just don't want to. I don't have any kids so paying for this kind of thing isn't that big of a deal.
