It's spring time and my yard is full of weeds and shit. I just sprayed Speticide Weed killer in the backyard just to see what that does. I don't even know what kind of grass I'm suppose to have so I don't even know where to begin. Any tips or websites that you could point me to so I could read up'?

find out what grass you actually have and try to get the weeds out to let that grass grow.
We moved into mine 2 years ago and it was about 80% weeds. 20% bermuda. Its taken time and lots of applications from my lawn company but its about 95% bermuda now. Its just a matter of getting the weeds to stop choking your grass.

I have no idea what type of grass I have either. So I used the Weed B gone for Southern lawns(bottle attaches to the hose). At close to the same time, I also started bagging my lawn clippings. And while not completely weed free yet, it does appear to be making improvements compared to the last 2 years of me being lazy with the clippings..

I am in a similar situation. We bought this house last may, and the yard is ab out 85% weeds 10% st Augustine and 5% bermuda. Problem being, none of the spots of good grass are in the same area! I started last fall with lesco 0-0-7, spread again about 2 weeks ago. Along with the Lesco, I sprayed the weed-b-gone for southern lawns. I haven't put any fertilizer down yet. I am going extreme on the 18th and having my lot re-graded, so it will get seeded with bermuda after that.Originally posted by LeahBest balls I've had in my mouth in a while.

Some good info there. It has a schedule for non organic or organic lawn care. I'm not buying the exact brands, I'm using what they have at the Nursery.
