Pros, cons? found a place in the country, new home with this system, is it a PITA to keep maintained? It also sez its powered by what looks to be a compressor of some sort? TIA...'H'

Yeah so we don't really have many problems with ours. You're required (at least in grayson county) to have it inspected quarterly which basically means someone is on contract and comes out 4 times a year.
Otherwise, drop some chlorine tablets in a tube every so often.
Downside is not really supposed to use garbage disposal and only TP (no tissues...etc) in the toilets.
Also, research your compressor and just buy a spare one yourself. If it dies, it's like a 50-100 dollar part and they jack you on labor/warranty. It's easy to replace.

we have a contracted service company check on and maintain ours... it's been something like $200/yr. and 4 or 5 yrs w/ zero issues
