  • Zero turn and/or Kubota hookup?

Well, its time to buy a new mower. Been using my dads 15 year old Scag. I plan on buying something of quality, not the Home Depot mowers. Id really like the Kubota ZD326 but the thing is damn near $14k. Hoping to spend between $7 and $10k. The new Scag Turf Tiger was $10,200 from the Kubota dealership.

Anyone have the hookup on a ZTR? The BadBoy Outlaw looks like a pretty good and solid mower but it has a 2 year warranty which is probably the weakest warranty on a ZTR. This is all residential mowing. 3.5 acres about once a week.

Look at the Hustler brand. They were actually the first company to ever make a ZTR. They have always been in the commercial side but recently got into the residential market. I'm picking up a ZTR this week from that company. 52" with fabricated deck and frame, Kawasaki motor for $2999. 3 year warranty. They have great reviews. The one I'm getting is the entry level but I only have 1 acre. They also have some other models that are more expensive and geared to larger areas and more industrial use.

Are you running a landscape company or just have a big yard ?
I bought a Husqvarna 54 inch model last year. Had a 10% off coupon at Lowes. Got it for $2900.. It's freakin awesome. Cut my time in half.
I looked at the Dixie Choppers, but just couldn't pull the trigger on that much for a mower....

I have a Gravely HD and that thing is built like a tank. Rides a lot better then the ole HD models also. Thing can mow at like 8 mph or something. Prices on them are fairly decent also. Takes me about 30 minutes to mow an acre at probably half speed on the throttle.

Gravely’s high performance commercial lawn mowers, including commercial zero turn mower, walk behind, or stand on lawn mowers in addition to the Atlas JSV UTV.
