We're doing our house in tile that looks like wood. I've looked at a ton of after pics from tile people, on the web, etc. Some look great and some look like shit. To me, the grout lines make or break it.
My dog would kill real wood with his nails. This house is also going to be a rental, so it was all about durability and minimal maintenance. They're not for everyone, but I think they're perfect in this situation.
