  • JBL Cinema SB400 Soundbar question

Alright. So i just got this Sharp - AQUOS Q+ Series - 60" Class(http://www.bestbuy.com/site/sharp-aq...&skuId=3347019) and when i hooked up the sound bar up to it i noticed the audio was off a lil. So instead of running the xbox and uverse through the soundbar i decided to run the devices to the tv then run an optical cable to the soundbar. It seemed to make it tolerable. Just here a few days ago i decided to run the devices through the soundbar again. Plugged everything up and i couldn't get video signal through xbox only audio. But the uverse box worked fine. So i switched the HDMI cables and still had the same result. So whats with the xbox one? Or is it just shitty HDMI cables? Or maybe setting on the Xbox One.

Edit: I feel like I need to clarify this a little.

    Connect everything through your tv.

Open the setup menu > advanced > audio - set to pcm (not bitstream). That should fix your problem.

I remember setting it to pcm. But last night i couldnt access the sound settings. I had to reset the tv in order to enable it.

Is it lagging on everything, or just certain things (i.e streaming content)?

Its just barely noticable. But it's only on the uverse box

You don't, by some chance, have an HDMI cable AND an optical cable going from the UVerse box to the tv? Not trying to insult your intelligence, but if you did I could see there being a conflict causing a delay.

Nah. Only an hdmi is going to it. Optical cable is going to the soundbar

Sounds to me like a UVerse issue then. I've had UVerse for years without experiencing that particular problem. However, now that I'm doing some research to help you, it seems fairly common.

Hi guys, I posted a bit about this in the flat panel section but that may have been the wrong place. I have a new samsung c8000 plasma and u-verse. Everything is running through a pioneer elite receiver and i'm having lip sync issues on some of the HD channels. I can't peg down a specific...
