  • I'm torn..what do i get???

So here is what I bought back a couple of years ago.
Yamaha YHT-397 5.1-Channel Home Theater System
    [ame]http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007PU2X76/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1[/ame]
I am in the process of upgrading the system. I recently bought 2 of the infinity p363 floorstanding speakers and they sound amazing.
My Center channel is still the weak yamaha one as well as my subwoofer. It sounded good in the apartment being only about 8 feet away from it. Now living in my house its about 15 feet away now and I have to turn it up to hear any dialogue and now my floorstanding speakers are over powering my center channel and my subwoofer when turned up to hear what they are saying really gets muffled and sounds terrible.
So since i have the infinity fronts I was looking to get the
Infinity Primus Three-way dual 5-1/4-Inch Speaker

I can only get one thing coming up for christmas from the wife 200$ budget is what we are doing this year and this is what im leaning towards because it seems like a really good deal and a great subwoofer.

Now I can always get the center channel probably next year but I just wanted to get some opinions on which would take priority.

If you are having to turn the volume up so much that it overpowers the sub you have know, just to hear the dialogue, then I say get a good center channel first and upgrade the sub later.

I went ahead and turned up my center channel in the eq and it actually sounds good. I will still upgrade it later but i went ahead and picked up the sub. Couldnt beat the price that its at right now.

Doug i should of asked you to pick up one for me! I paid 199$ I dont have a business to get it at your price

Oh nevermind they dropped the price to 169! I bought mine for 199$ on 12/4, i hope they can credit me the difference.

So the sub arrived yesterday and I hooked it up and watched a couple of movies real quick and WOW is all I have to say. It produces such an amazing sound and compliments my fronts really well. If you need a sub and you are not trying to spend an arm and leg for one, i would recommend this to anyone. I have a fairly large living room space to fill and it does just that and way more!

It actually shakes my walls and its only about 60% turned up lol!
