I have a 2 story 2700sqft home built in 1890 that needs to be leveled. Had a company that did work in thr past for me at my old house say that the 4x4's around the entire property were rotted and giving way due to weight from thr house. The actual piers are in good condition all around.but the wood on top of them on all the exterior walls are failing. I was quoted $4,000 to level the entire property and replace all of the wood with pressure treated 4x6's. Does that sound like a good price? At my last house they came in $1000 cheaper than everyone else. This one will come with 10 year warranty.
