  • Central Humidifier

Need to get a Humidifier installed on the furnace. The dryness is jacking up our wood floors and kitchen cabinets, everything is starting to separate and have large gaps. Anybody know anything about these, I see there are a few different types. or have a hook up for an installer?

Are you sure its the humidity and not a foundation issue? The dfw area is usually running 60-70% humidity. Building science people are recommending dehumidifiers to bring the indoor humidity to less than 55%

Our cabinets seperate some in winter. I use a Vicks humidifier that puts maybe 3 liters in the air per 24hrs. It helps some. We have a heat pump and before this moisture yesterday and today I was seeing 35% in the house.

It would only be needed during the winter months obviously, I definitely recommend a steam humidifier and also run some kind of filter before it if you can. filters not a deal breaker but if you can its nice. You looking for name brands or just info in general? I'm an manufacturers rep and we actually have some but there are a lot of other guys that have them too
