Having problems with my fridge

My Samsung Side by Side refrigerator is 1 1/2 years old. For the last couple of months, it has been making a terrible noise when we dispense water. For lack of a better description, it sounds almost like a jackhammer. We can hear the noise throughout the living area of the house. We were told it might be the filter and we have now changed that twice. Ran the required water through the fridge after changing the filter and it diminshes for just a little bit, then the noise returns.
It does dispense water...just makes this horrendous noise. It also makes the noise when filling the ice maker. Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks in advance for your help.

Try turning it off and then back on again.

Haven't tried that yet, but after taking the filter out and the noise disappeared.

Had you ever changed the filter? If so did you use the correct one?

Yeah, i have now changed the filter 2 times and Amazon has been more than generous to send me a new one just to be sure. And with this 2nd one it still does it, not right off the bat but after a couple of days it goes right back to making the noise.
Another thing to noteWhen i put the new filter in, the pressure looks great and dispenses with no problems, but I noticed that it loses pressure when this noise occurs.

The model fridge is Samsung RS261MDWP

Maybe the brand of filter you are using?

It is a Samsung brand the same as if i were to buy it from Lowes or home depot

refrigerator Problem

Take the supply line loose from the refrigerator and fill a clean 5 gallon bucket and see what is in the water. Sounds like you are getting trash through the line and in a few days you are plugging the filter. A plugged filter will cause the fill valve to cut on and off making the hammering sound.
