Can you post a vid later on how the water drains? I'm curious to see how the "slope" performs. Or, maybe some pictures with a level from each corner to the drain and mid sections to the drain. Purtty please . GL.

Sure, but the floor tile is laid right now so gotta wait for it to dry first.
All corners are poured higher and we used a level on multiple spots and found no low spots.
Haven't had any water hit the tile yet.

Looks good Justin, I like that shower floor. We have plans to update our guest bath soon, but replacing the tub will be a lot easier than all that tile work.

Your city dump should take it.

that shower pan system is really interesting using self leveling concrete. Im going to have to read up on it.

My tile guy took it to the Arlington city dump(he lives there so it was cheap).

Luckily, I have a great tile guy that loves what he does and takes pride in his work.

I value your opinion and I've learned a lot from you, so report back on what you find out please sir.

I appreciate all of the compliments everyone.
Acting as your own general contractor can be quite the task to ensure everything is done properly.
Especially when I have pretty much zero construction experience.
Just trying to learn all I can beforehand and as I go.
Thank goodness for good friends and the internet.

Bathroom is not 100% completed yet.
Still gotta hang some mirrors, towel holders, and also the shower door(ordered yesterday and I actually used 8mpg's recommendation).
I called Shower Doors of Dallas and had them match some quotes and they are building me a 36" x 72" frameless 3/8" brushed nickel door w/diamon-fusion protectant for $800 installed.

My plumber completely rebuilt the toilet and installed a touchless Kohler flush kit on it(http://www.homedepot.com/p/KOHLER-To...54-0/204783011).
I ended up going with an occupancy dimmer switch for the main bathroom LED lights so when you walk in the room they come on automatically and when you leave the room they turn off.

Only big downfall is that my drywall guy broke my granite backsplash to my vanity when he was working in my master bedroom. When my new mirror arrives, I might end up doing some 3 x 6 travertine tile up to the mirror for a backsplash instead of the granite.
