Mine are the engineered version ( not scraped or stained in place or anything). They do have a little texture though, so you're probably right.

If I remember, I will get you the information for the cleaning product our flooring company recommends for our hardwoods. Everyone that uses it says it is the best stuff they have used.

The back door opens onto a covered patio, so hopefully that won't be too big of an issue.

is it me or do i see hinges? im on a small screen but it looks like your door opens into the room not the patio...but then again my eyes could be fooling me

The door swings inward, yes. The outside slab is covered, hence dry.

Looks real good. Just got bathroom countertops in about the same color as yours. We are in the process of staining our bathroom cabinet, this give me good reasurance that its going to look good.

Yeah, it was a little slower than we expected. We were originally told around the end of October, but had a few delays on the builders part.
