Bought it that way. No way I would have gone for that if I was having it built. I got a couple of quotes to fix it but it's going to be $$$$ since they have to bust up the curved panels and part of the sidewalk, plus cut the curb. All so the builder could save a few hundred bucks.

That was one of the questions I asked early on. We had a plot plan that showed it curved and I wanted to make sure it was straight all the way to the street. All of the others in the development are like mine, so it wasn't an issue.

Thanks! They got the 2 AC condensing units installed today and I think they have some inspections they'll do early next week. Then trim touch up, sod the yard, and the rest of the flooring. Making good progress

FWIW My lift plugs into a standard 120v outlet. The 2 post generally use 220v.

                    • Yeah, for me a 2- post would work better. Something to unload the suspension...

                        • One thing I will recommend and I learned from a previous house with wood floors that connected with the back door exit... Make sure that when it rains that door is sealed really good especially at the bottom corners and also you have a drying mat for shoes outside the door and inside. Our floors started to show signs of water wear before I realized what was causing it, and it made it worse every time I opened the door water would drip off the bottom of it onto the floor

                          • The back door opens onto a covered patio, so hopefully that won't be too big of an issue.

                            • Hand scraped hardwoods, Doug? The floors in my Master Bedroom look almost identical. I love the look but they are a bitch to keep clean. Buy some stock in Swiffer..

                              • Mine are the engineered version ( not scraped or stained in place or anything). They do have a little texture though, so you're probably right.
