 What model car lift is that?!
 
 Oh and is the opener designed with the chained motor and sprocket at each end of the garage up top?! If so then that's pretty cool. Not to mention pricey. Awesome job btw.

 I couldn't see the door in your pics.... I'm thinking for a 2-post, as long as the post locations are out from under the footprint of the open door, I'll be fine. Pull the car in, close the door and then lift the car. Although, this would prevent you from lifting with the door open.... (or at least only lifting to a certain height.)

 Yeah that was my problem. I couldn't get the car raised enough with the door open to get the other car underneath the lift. This is primarily intended for storage.
