I try not to bag my lawn but once or twice a month. I'm mowing pretty much every 5-6 days. If I get any big clumps of cut grass in the yard, I just walk the yard with a blower and break it up to spread around the yard.

Dunno, if thats right, but it seems logical.

My guy does Midlothian so he might do your area if you want his info. My pool is kind of a tough one because I have 13 pecan trees in the back yard that tower over top of the water.

The thread started with 2 houses side by side. Zemogs house had a much greener lawn.

WTMF! Get a automatic chlorinator put on, add a good Polaris cleaner, and throw in a couple of bags of shock every Monday. I can not believe people pay some one to clean their pool. I went with a oversized DE filter and backwash it about once every three months. Water is all crispy clean and shit. Salt is even easier but I have natural stone.

I have only ever aerified 2 lawns in the 20+years I have been business, it will never hurt to aerify, i just haven't seen a need to do it, i only did the 2 because they insisted.

What's the automatic chlorinator do? I've got a good Polaris... I get really high levels of phosphorus all the time because of the trees.

It just a big ass tube they tie into your filter line that you drop 3 inch tablets in. I check it about every two weeks and fill it up. It holds about 8 tabs and only costs like 80.00 bucks plus install.

our HOA pool is driving us nuts. They have a pool service once a week and a guy in the nieghborhood that is down there every day working on the pool. All the levels are perfect but there is algea all over the place and is making the pool green. Even vacuuming on waste only helps a litte but its back in a couple of days. any ideas?

Bigger filters or less traffic. Anytime my chems are right on and my water starts to cloud a little, it needs a good back wash. I will say this though. If you have a few Crepe Myrtles around it they will screw up your water with a quickness. Burn them with fire. They are pretty trees but terrible to have close to anything. My mom was fighting her water for a few years and she finally listened to me and cut down her Crepes. No problems since.

no crepes but there are about 3 big oak trees that shade the pool could it be from the trees just all the sap and droppings. its kind of funny it didnt do it last year but they also just threw a damn tarp over the pool durring the winter. it looked like a swamp when they uncovered it. could it possibly need to be drained and acid washed or something?
