  • Need soffit/fascia work and paint

Anyone have recommendations? I have someone coming to give us a quote and they want $20/ft for soffit/fascia/frieze. Sounds pricey. May have to do it myself. Already PM's blacksnake to see if he is interested.

    Thanks

I don't have any recommendations, but we are having soffits and fascia replaced on our farm house in OK. I'll ask what the cost per foot was, and let you know. Labor is cheaper up there than it is here, but a ballpark should help.

I replaced a section of our fascia today. The fascia is very easy, the soffit is another story, thankfully mine is in good shape. Is that $20/ft including material?

Yes...tear out, materials (including paint) and labor.

I'm looking to do the same... mostly fascia boards and old flaking paint on a 1970's house.
I think I'm in the same area as you too. North Keller? I'll let you know if I get any good quotes.

That doesn't sound too terrible for that amount of work.

Super Siding and Remodeling... they did mine. They were literally 1/2 the price of two other companies that came out. Id recommend them in a heart beat. Great price, great work, on schedule. The owner left a quote on the front door after asking permission to walk around the house when we werent home. The owners son and grandson are on site and run the crew. If you have an angies list account, read the reviews.

Amazing Siding was a pain in the ass with a 45 minute power point presentation and try to only set appointments if you and your wife are there for the sales pitch. They were one of the companies with a $14k quote. I used to have a voicemail of their salesman blabbing on for as long as the voicemail would let him about how his crew left him and are working for other companies. That the price I paid would more than cover the materials and labor and that the company needed $8k profit on the job etc...
