We are building, so they will have NO blinds when we move in, unless i can get them to include them last minute kinda thing.

The builder should allow you to come in before your move in and install the blinds.

well you know what i mean though, refering to the changing from teh 1 to 2" blinds. I'm still going to try and get them to include the blinds. I mean, they get them obviously at a fairly cheap price. So might as well try, wont hurt.

But i plan on bothering Kenny just in case, and having him waiting in the wings with mesurements.

From timeless to modern, find window treatments that redefine your space and make a statement that will leave your windows wishing they looked as good.

I can send you samples if you need color selectors. If you want to purchase, you can use your own measurements and install yourself or we can provide turn key service with our own measure & install. If you tell me the sizes, I can get you a quote for every product category... blinds, cell shades, woven woods, roller shades, shutters, etc...

how much do you guys charge for measure and install, becuase it's the easiest thing in the world. I was curious how much of the cost was for the install they wanted to do.

Good luck getting a builder to add something if you've already signed the contract...

              Normally charge?

              Charge for anyone on here?

We ...(the division you would buy from)... price everything by the sqft, and so here is what a typical house might look like..

normal price to a builder - 20 windows, average 15sqft per window, $3.25 per sqft (product & install) = $975

DIY and buy product only - 20 windows, avg 15sqft per, $2.25 (for product) = $675

Could be more, could be less depending on color, product, etc

              That's just a typical situation

Well hopefully i can get them to include the blinds with the build. But I did the math with the measurements i took at the model home of the floorplan we are building and its just at 300sq ft of window in the house. Thats not going off of the window schedule, but its fairly close.
