Wood flooring

While more exspensive then what your talking about we went with ceramic tile wood floor and love it.

I was looking to do wood floor is my dinging room, kitchen and laundry room. My only real concern was the area in the laundry room under the washer and dryer. Mostly I was thinking if there was a leak from the washer/plumbing it would screw up the flooring.
Is that a legit concern or am I thinking too much?

Yeah laundry room would be a bad idea.
