I'd still get a pancake compressor. The portability of it is nice when doing trim work.

Compressors are the things I wasted the most money on until I found one that was not 220, but was not oil-less that I liked. If budget at the moment permits, I'd recommend...
If you study it, you can walk right into NT and find an identical "Puma" - air filter locations and everything is identical and it'll be about 150-200 less. I happened to find a decent deal on the IR at Lowes - so that maybe an option too.
It's quieter than the oil-less and does most things any homeowner would want with no problems and some of the bigger stuff too. You'd not want use it with some tools continuous (cut off tool...etc) as a pro - but for DIY projects around the house it is fine and portable.
Past that, I'd pony up for the sliding miter saw, good nail guns, and whatever else you need. Unlike cordless tools, these tools have the potential to last a lifetime for you if you find good/decent ones and take care of them.Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.
