More or less. His company builds garbage truck and roll-off truck bodies (including all hydraulic cylinders and control systems, in house). Their customers are municipalities and independent refuse companies.

Equipment was installed yesterday. The guys are out there prepping to pour the deck, so that's going in today - will have updated pics this afternoon....

We decided to add a walkway to a side restroom door about 30min before the concrete truck showed up, so they were able to pull it off...

Almost there, will fill tomorrow... Then need the kitchen rebuilt, deck finished/sealed (they said something about grinding), and landscaping. Plaster/pebblesheen:

I had to ask him to take a pic of it - then he asks me (I think) if I spoke Spanish, I said no.. I think he was asking me if I got the shirt. So a buddy of his asked me if I knew what it meant, I said yeah, does he not get it? Turns out they didn't know what Irish meant. I had to explain it to them - that was the hard part explaining why it was funny.....

I thought the same, so I went back and looked. We are right at 9 weeks since dig. They told me 8-10 weeks in total, which should be on the latter side. We did lose a few days on weather and inspections but not too bad in the long run.

I'm just ready for this shit to be done with and don't think I'll ever get another one. It's too much of a headache.

Does seem like it's been going forever. I know that would irritate me. I'm impatient as hell when I'm having work done on my house-and that stuff usually doesn't take more than 3 or 4 days at the most. Guys are supposed to be here tomorrow to start building a patio addition. I know that's going to be fun.
