Anyways i went in the attic to shove some boxes up there and noticed that there is no insulation at all above my garage. Is there a reason why that is? and would it help to warm things up in there If i laid some insulation down?
I have the cotton looking insulation btw.
Garages tend to not get insulated. That really sucks for me, since mine isnt insulated, and my bedroom is directly above it, so my bedroom stays really cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

I wonder why that is? I mean how hard would it have been to just finish the job and do the entire attic?

I would've assumed (yeah I know) that since there is an interior room up stairs they would insulate it.

as far is difficulty or time? Not much, and you would think it would be done everytime. Savings on materials is the only thing I can think of.
