  • Pressure Washers

I am getting my wife one for Christmas. Anyone have a brand or model that they like? Has to be electric, because holding true to it being HERS, it has to be easy to use.

Looking at a Karcher 2,000psi 1.4gpm at Home Depot for $229.00.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

Not sure about the electric ones, but I have a gas powered Troy built from lowes and it has done well. I think it is 4000 psi unit 1.6-1.7 gpm

Skip Karcher and get over to Northern Tool for a better build of electric washers, their own NorthStar brand.

Karcher X Series seems to be highly recommended when I was doing my research.

I've got one with a Honda motor that starts first pull every time. My wife has a single friend that uses it a couple times a year with no problems and she is about a buck20.

What are you going to do with it? For pressure washing fences and such, the recommendation is 2900psi. You don't need near that much pressure for the deck/patio or car washes.

I have a 3000psi 5.5gpm with diesel burner just sitting in the shop. Like new condition.

The Generac 2700 PSI (Gas-Cold Water) Pressure Washer 6022 has been discontinued. Check out Expert's recommended alternatives for another top gas cold water pressure washer.

bought this a year or to ago and have been plenty happy with it. whatever you get a turbo tip is a must.

That is what I was finding too.

That is the plan. Along with my mower and other small jobs. I think electric and 2,000psi (advertised) should be fine. Anymore than that and I get out of my desired price range for this gift.

I wouldn't know. She keeps the sink empty and dishes clean. I think she uses wizardry or some shit, I never see her do them.

That looks like a great deal too. I am gonna stay with electric though. I just don't want another maintenance item.
