Scored a amazing deal at lowes the other night for a 5 port transfer valve and trim, Even though I dont even have a house yet ( close in late january)
I was already planning to remodel shower but not right away. I want to do a rainhead with 2 watertile on the side that are operated at the same time.
Other one would be just a handheld shower.
Got me to thinking is this thing too much for just the 2 setting I want?
Here are specs.
5-port diverted rough-in valve
Chrome finish
2 inlets, 3 outlets
0.5" NPT female connections
GROHE Silk Move ceramic cartridge
Note: Plug one inlet when using mixed water
Flow Rate: 18.5 gpm at 45 psi
Would a plumber be able to make this work?
short version:
custom shower
setting 1 - rainhead +2 walltile
setting 2 - handheld shower
Is a 5 port valve too much for this?
