  • Needing a new dishwasher, what's everyone got that they like

Have the basic GE dishwasher from when the house was built (low end contractor grade). Does an OK job, but going to replace it as it just doesn't clean as well as it should IMO. Have to pre-clean stuff before you put it in, and now the stupid door for the second load of soap doesn't open during the running cycles. Probably could fix it, but I'd rather get a good one that can handle dirty dishes.

Sooo, what's everyone have they like, and does a good job? I've read some good things about some Bosch dishwashers, and GE does seem to have some good higher end models. Figure I'll srat looking now and hope to pick one up around the T-day deals, maybe black Friday or some shit??? Heard Sears will have washers and dryers at %50 off that day!

We had a contractor model which was loud and having a open floor plan from the kitchen to the living room it sucked. We bought the ge adora series. its super quite and cant even tell when its on. We went with that model only because of the color but have been very happy with it.

I am about to buy a new one. My current one only cleans the dishes when I bitch about them being in the sink.

I have a samsung, I effing HATE it. The fucking thing has to be baby-sat while it runs. You have to open the door with 22min left on the timer, 11min, and 2 min or it will fucking stop working and report the LE (leak) code. Then you have to leave it open for like 2 days and not use it before it will run again (at which time you have to watch it). It's on my list of shit to replace next year.
