Toilet has been rocking slightly for a while and found out why today. I was pulling out the old shitty vinyl sheet flooring to get ready to tile. The toilet closet flange has broken off.
It looks like the flange was made of brass. I'm not looking to spend a ton of money fixing this but want it done properly. I see some companies make new flanges that insert into the pipe and have expansion seals that snugs it into the pipe. How well do these work or is there a better, inexpensive way to fix this? I was thinking the insert would actually work better since the height of it will need to change due to the new tile.
