I can't believe how expensive pools are. My BIL just dropped 50k on one. They went 6' deep in the back end, but wanted it shallow on the front end for the kids, I swear, that fucking thing is closer to 7.5' deep with very little useable space for his kids.

I'm actually surprised it passed inspection.

      Why wouldn't pass inspection?

Equipment and final plumbing is in.

Very nice! Get them to guesstimate on the volume before they leave..... I wish I knew an accurate volume of my pool/spa combo! (Kidney shaped, various depths, etc.)

If you're in the city limits, they had to pull a permit, and it should have the specs on it. HOA may have it as well, if you have one.

I need to finish moving the last rocks, and cleanup some stuff to get some decent pics. It's too hard to get out of the new pool to do work! It is great, and trying not get a whole summer's use out of these last few weeks.

They put in the gas line and backwash line yesterday. Electrical, deck framing and concrete will be sometime this week.

I don't recall the volume off hand, but it is on my paper work.

There hasn't been much picture worthy updates. They put in all the plumbing, equipment, electrical, and now the deck framing. Concrete should go in tomorrow after the inspection.

I took this one with a potato.

I can't remember the name of the contractor that dug the hole but I can find out.

Just curious, A buddy of mine owns H&H out of Mesquite and digs quite a few pools in the metroplex. Good bunch of guys if they did it.

Digging it is the easy part.
