We deal in MUCH larger quanities which may be the reason we are able to get 1-3 yards if needed for a/c pads and flatwork. We use TXI exclusively, the kicker os that they won't guarantee the mud in smaller quantities.

Make sure if you go the concrete route you check references. Poor workmanship can lead to a LARGE number of issues as well as added expense later if you have to have it cut out

Is it for sale or something? Or he bought it used? Unclear post is unclear.

Hey people's. My company makes a new product now. Its been selling like stupid. Its called deckover. The quick explanation it's basically bedliner for decks , patios and even concrete. Not exactly cheap at $150ish per 5 gallon and we do sell it in two and one gallon. I've been making this stuff all summer and it's a pain to chisel and grind this crap off of my equipment.

Reason I post this is everyone going on about having to refinish the wood every so often. This would be great for his application seeing as it is a textured no slip Finnish.

We are wanting to add a concrete patio outside the back living area for when we replace the windows with french doors. Since we live so close to you (and Chris) maybe we can all get it lined up to do it at the same time so they can order the larger amount and we can all get it at a cheaper price!

That may take a couple of concrete crews. We stick to a 90 minute delivery time. Any mud that shows up and left the plant more than 90 min prior gets sent back. It starts to get hot and sets faster the longer it takes to get it in the ground and floated

lol. Update. So I got back into getting this worked and got new quotes. Ended up increasing the size from 12x12 to 16x11, reinforced for a hot tub, and it's going to run $835, turn key. Should be done in the next few weeks, then I'll finally be able to get a therapeutic hot tub for my back and neck.

Not a bad deal, is Mike doing it?

No. Mike was the roughly $1600 quote in post 19 for a 12x12. I've got a GC that I used to install some pocket doors and put down some hardwoods and got a quote from him.

This is going to be nice to finally get done. Hoping the hot tub really helps out a lot.

                      that's cheap as get-out

working on getting a hot tub prescribed for the wife... planning a small slab under the tub with an elevated platform for it to sit on and a deck built around it. going to sink it in the deck a bit

Wish I could have gone the prescription route. My Specialist was not very helpful. 3 surgical procedures and little change. On the bright side I've got money coming in again, so I'm going to be doing a lot of work on the house trying to up my quality of life. Glad I had insurance. This is the point where things start turning around finally after being on edge for 8 months.

Holy shit that is cheap. I built a 18x12 last year, not sure what I had in material, but it was close to $500. I slightly over engineered, but not terribly.
