Free hot tub? I bet that thing has a warehouse sized sample of semen close to a sperm bank.

It comes with all the wiring, but I assume I'm going to need some electrical done. I also will probably need it leveled and "installed" properly in the location I want it in my backyard where there is just currently grass next to my covered patio. Advice? Anyone on here do this type of work? Muchas Gracias.
If it's an electric unit, it will most likely be a 220v 50a ckt. You'll need a 50amp 2-pole gfci breaker, fed with 6awg wire. Depending on panel location and type, you'll probably want to put a little 60a disconnect switch (just out of reach of the hot tub) or possibly get an enclosed gfci breaker and put it there, then feed the hot tub from that. I can walk you through everything or send you someone that can do it for you, whenever you're ready.

I might need to start rethinking this in terms of just buying something smaller that is new. Any recommendations on hot tub companies to use or avoid. A mod can merge this thread with my deck/patio thread and kill the semi-redundency if they'd like.

Have you talked with your medical insurance company? I've seen instances of having a hot tub, pool, etc. being paid for by insurance for valid, chronic medical conditions. I've been checking into a pool because of Aly's diagnosis. Just a thought.

I've seen it happen and heard of many instances of it happening from the JA facebook groups I'm a part of. All of Aly's massages are covered through insurance and like I said, I'm currently working with them on a pool/hot tub to help with her therapy. They have said they would pay for a gym membership, at a place that has a pool, for her (and one for me since she's a minor and I'd have to take her), but it would be much more convenient to have it here.

Give it shot-worse they can say is 'no'.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.
