  • Scale on crape myrtles.

    I believe to identified this as scale. Can anyone confirm this with my pictures. I saw one tree that looked not as full as the others and then ll of a sudden, all 3 have this to some degree. If it is scale, how do I kill it?

      power wash them... Crape myrtle's are practically indestructible anyway.

        Don't power wash them. Just don't water them so much, or like at all. That's a fungus.

            my parents' next door neighbor would cut his crape myrtles down to about a 4-5ft tall stump every year or two and they would grow right back
