rob and lynn had a saltwater pool, seemed like maintenance wasn't a big deal.

Yeah my main pump went out 3 years ago, I also replaced mine with a high efficiency. What a world of difference electric wise.

The one I just replaced ran my polaris.

Now my last issue is I have DE leaking back into my pool at a very small rate. I've replaced all my filter grids two years ago, and just inspected them no tears. I replaced the manifold up top, the only thing I couldn't get on was the new o-ring that goes on the return to the pool from the manifold. The new one I bought was too wide, I could not slip the manifold over it. I put the old one back on and I'm still having a leak. Very frustrating.

Make sure the plastic tip on the top of each grid is not too flexible. Under pressure that can cause a slight leak even if there are no tears.

I have used an in ground swimming pool for a long time but now want to move another house and it has not this one. So I decided to buy an above ground pool as someone told me it is very good. Anyone here used above ground pool?
